Girl, I have to speak truth over you today. Is that ok? For those of us that are focusing on gratitude and truly living life on purpose- this is for you!
Living life on purpose isn’t just a nice phrase-it’s a powerful way to align your days with your calling.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re doing all the things but still feel a sense of emptiness or exhaustion, you’re not alone. Purposeful living doesn’t mean a packed calendar or a perfect plan—it means aligning your life with what matters most. It’s about showing up with intention, being present in the moment, and choosing obedience over hustle. Here are three essential truths to keep in mind as you pursue a life of purpose:
1. Purpose Starts with God, Not a Goal
Your purpose isn’t something you chase; it’s something you uncover. True purpose begins with the One who created you. When you seek God first, everything else finds its place. Purposeful living is less about striving and more about surrendering. Ask Him daily, “What do You want to do through me today?” When your plans are rooted in prayer, they’re guided by peace—not pressure.
2. Clarity Comes Through Movement, Not Just Mindset
You won’t discover your purpose by overthinking. It reveals itself through action. Sometimes we wait too long for confirmation when God is just asking for obedience in the next step. Purposeful living requires you to move—even if it’s slow, even if it’s messy. Start where you are, use what you have, and trust that clarity will grow as you go.
3. Less is Often More in a Purposeful Life
A purposeful life is not a busy life—it’s a focused one. It’s learning to say “no” to what distracts and “yes” to what aligns. You don’t have to do everything. You don’t have to be everything. Purpose often shows up in the small, faithful moments—listening to a friend, spending time with your family, showing up for your community. Don’t overlook those quiet assignments; they often lead to the most meaningful impact.
